Qui sont New York Philharmonic ?
Formé en 1842 à New York, Philharmonic-Symphony Society of New York, Inc., plus connu sous le nom de New York Philharmonic, est un orchestre symphonique américain. New York Philharmonic ne se résume pas à un seul ensemble musical, il existe deux autres ensembles musicaux, dont The Horns of the New York Philharmonic et New York Philharmonic Ensembles. Au sein de la vaste discographie de New York Philharmonic, les œuvres les plus célèbres incluent certainement Bruno Walter The Edition et Leonard Bernstein: The Symphony Edition, mais également Boulez Conducts Stravinsky: The Firebird & The Rite of Spring. Ils sont notamment connus pour les tubes Symphony No. 5 In C Minor, Op. 67: I. Allegro Con Brio et Symphony No. 5 In C Minor, Op. 67: Ii.
